Our core equipment includes automatic oxy-cutting machines, a heavy-duty press, a frame bender, a press brake and rolling machines. These are used to pre-fabricate panels and blocks in the shop in readiness for fitting on board.

Submerged arc, TIG, MIG/MAG, gravity and manual metal arc are routine welding methods used by us.

We can also handle jobs where special steel and non-ferrous metals are welded. An internal qualitycontrol of all welding is practiced. All our welders are tested and licensed before they qualify for work.

Shipbuilding plates covering common grades and thickness are kept in stock. Our stock is normally maintained to ensure immediate availability of standard grades and sections of steel. All plates are blasted, primed and certified.

Inter Ocean workshops are geared for major steel renewals. Our daily rate of steel production exceeds 10 tons / day on any one ship.
